- 8:00 AM One Mile Fun Run: To sign up or questions, contact: Denton150th@gmail.com
- 9:00 AM Kickball Tournament
- 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM:
- Kids Play Area: Spring Creek Prairie, bounce house, games, snow cones, cotton candy.
- Bingo in Community Center. $0.25 per game.
- Historical Society display in Community Center.
- Shirts & Hats for sale in the Community Center.
- 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM: Meals. Available from local churches and food trucks. Churches (in Community Center) stop serving at 4:00 pm.
- Food Trucks run till 11:00 pm.
- 1:00 PM Beer Garden Games:
- Baggo/Corn Hole Tournament
- Yard Pong Tournament.
- 8:00 PM Band and Street Dance.
Ends at midnight.
Fireworks display during intermission.
2021 Seminar Schedule
The lectures in 2021 will address topics ranging from carbon sequestration and grassland management for climate change to soil organic matter and grassland pollinators. A preview of each seminar presentation can be found by clicking on the “CGS Podcast” link below each presentation title. The series will feature Dr. M. Francesca Cotrufo, Professor and Associate Head of Soil & Crop Sciences and Senior Scientist at the Natural Resource Ecology Lab at Colorado State University, as this year’s Frank and Margaret Leu Distinguished Lecturer. Dr. Cotrufo will give a presentation entitled, “Advancing Understanding of Soil Organic Matter to Address XXI Century Wicked Challenges.” The Society for Range Management has approved 1 continuing education credit (CEU) for presentations marked, “CEU Approved.”
